The Parkland Group and Socius Development Group are wrapping up construction on 60 Fulton St., also known as the Exhibit as tribute to the curated photography exhibition that is on permanent display throughout the 23-story tower’s lobby, hallways and amenity areas.
The building designed by Hill West Architects is almost ready for occupancy, and its gallery is now open to those interested to view artworks that depict artists and musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, The Ramones, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, shot by famous 1970s and 1980s photographers like Allan Tannenbaum, Marc Weiss, Ricky Powell and David Godlis.
“Curating an entire rental building in New York hasn’t been done before. And it’s pure NYC, from the photographers to their subjects,” Socius principal Scott Aaron says to New York Yimby.
The building stands 236 ft. tall and has a total construction area of 101,500 sq. ft., with 5,800 sq. ft. of retail space on the ground floor, and 95,700 sq. ft. of residential space.
