New York City has issued a $18,906,889 building permit for work at 277 Park Ave.
The permit issued to Cauldwell Wingate Co. LLC says the work includes “facade modification to existing stone facades on ground floor with new stone panels and new metal panels; modification of ground floor to third floor glass facade on Park Ave. with new glass facade/modification of existing awning on park avenue with new glass aluminum and steel awning addition of new glass aluminium, and steel awning on Lexington Avenue.”
The 50-story structure, originally completed in 1964, is owned by the Stahl Organization. It currently houses parts of JPMorgan Chase’s Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, and other corporate functions, Wikipedia reports.
