Dodge Data & Analytics will host its 78th annual Dodge Construction Outlook Executive Conference, October 19-20, 2016, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Long held as the country’s premier construction forecasting event, the conference will culminate in Dodge chief economist Robert Murray’s presentation of the 2017 forecast, a pivotal economic benchmark for the industry.
The highly anticipated annual forum brings together attendees from across the construction industry – including architects and designers, contractors, engineers and building product manufacturers – to hear vital economic forecasts and guidance for their businesses. For the first time in its history, the event will also include a construction outlook for Canada.
“The theme of Outlook 2017 is ‘Disruptive Innovation,’” said Mike Petrullo, chief executive officer, Dodge Data & Analytics. “Quick-thinking construction leaders are leveraging new technologies to overhaul their businesses, and Dodge has already begun advancing the data and software resources we will rely on to accomplish this in an evolving economy.”
Outlook 2017 will open with a networking reception October 19 from 6 –7:30 p.m., with presentations the following day from 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Delivering the luncheon keynote speech is Steve Eisman, a former hedge fund manager and finance expert whose role in predicting the financial crisis of 2007 was portrayed by Steve Carell in the movie “The Big Short.”
