Marx Realty says it is planning a $24 million renovation project at its 545 Madison Ave. office building in Midtown Manhattan.

The scope of work includes an overhaul of the lobby, creation of pre-built tenant suites on the third and 14th floors, and the construction of 5,000 sq. ft. of new amenity spaces.

There will be new marquee signage with neon lighting for the entryway and the lobby will be renovated with walnut wood and bronze finishes and fluted glass doors.

The developers plan enhanced amenities on two floors including a “club floor” with lounge space, a 40-seat boardroom, a private terrace and a cafe. “Various mechanical upgrades are also under consideration to help promote the health and wellness of both new and existing tenants,” New York YIMBI reports.

STUDIOS Architecture ls the lead designer working with Marx on the lobby and amenity spaces, while OTJ Architects will design the suites on the third and 14th floors.

“We pioneered the hospitality aesthetic in the office sector and know how to quickly execute a transformation that makes tenants feel like they are walking into a luxury hotel,” the website quoted  Craig Deitelzweig, president and CEO of Marx Realty as saying. “It starts at the front door by introducing a complete sensory experience and continues throughout the building with thoughtfully designed amenity spaces and common areas.”
