The New York Giants are planning a major expansion and renovation of their team headquarters, with a new football-focused facility designed to improve player performance, preparation and recovery.

The Giants have selected EwingCole and Natoli Construction Corp. to design and construct the project, which will add approximately 93,500 square feet of new construction and renovate another 46,000 square feet at the team’s training headquarters.

The project is expected to be completed before the 2028 NFL season.

“This is a significant investment in the future of our football operation,” Giants President and CEO John Mara said. “We believe it is our responsibility to provide our players, coaches, and staff with the resources and environment they need to succeed.”

The expansion will include a locker room of more than 6,000 square feet with 100 full-size lockers and an 11,000-square-foot weight room. The weight room will include a nutrition bar and a cardio mezzanine overlooking the team’s indoor field.

The project will also substantially expand the team’s sports medicine and rehabilitation facilities, tripling their current footprint.

New recovery and wellness spaces will include hydrotherapy, steam and sauna facilities, red light therapy, cryotherapy, dry float tanks and hyperbaric chambers.

Modernized player and team areas will also be incorporated into the facility to support preparation throughout the week.

The project follows the completion this spring of a full renovation and expansion of the Giants’ cafeteria.

“As the game continues to evolve, we must continue to evolve with it,” Mara said. “This project reflects our commitment to our people and to building a foundation that will support the New York Giants for years to come.”

The project represents a combined 139,500 square feet of new and renovated space and is intended to create a more integrated environment for football operations, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, recovery and player wellness.

Construction is scheduled to continue through the 2027 season, with the expanded and renovated headquarters targeted for completion ahead of the 2028 season.
