Gilbane Building Company and Turner Construction announced a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for explicit graffiti at the Highmark Stadium construction site, as work resumes today following a multi-day stoppage.

The graffiti was discovered last weekend in multiple locations, including both finished and unfinished areas of the stadium, prompting the companies to temporarily halt construction.

“We suspended work because the people who come to this jobsite deserve to work in an environment that reflects respect and professionalism,” Gilbane Turner said in a statement. “When that standard is violated, we address it and take the time to reset expectations. That is who we are and how we operate.”

The companies emphasized zero tolerance for vandalism and thanked trade contractors, unions, local officials, law enforcement, and workers on site for their support during the investigation. Approximately 1,500 workers are expected back on the site today.

The $2.1 billion stadium remains on schedule to open next season as the new home of the Buffalo Bills. “Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive jobsite is our highest priority,” Gilbane Turner said.
