Goodman Group has completed demolition and secured planning board approval to redevelop the former New York Daily News printing site into the Goodman Logistics Center (GLC) Jersey City, a two-building, 427,130-square-foot logistics hub on 17 acres.

The development is designed to provide modern, sustainable warehouse facilities aimed at improving operational efficiency for tenants serving New York’s fast-paced delivery market. Build-to-suit opportunities will accommodate a range of uses, including advanced manufacturing, logistics, food and beverage, cold storage, and operations requiring automation or robotics.

“Goodman Logistics Center Jersey City will set a new benchmark for high-productivity logistics space in one of the most supply-constrained markets in the U.S.,” said Anthony Rozic, CEO of Goodman North America. “Revitalizing this iconic site enables us to deliver modern infrastructure that supports the evolving needs of our customers.”

The site overlooks Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty and is adjacent to Liberty State Park, giving tenants a unique combination of accessibility and amenity. The location is also within a one-hour drive of 14 million residents, providing access to a strong labor pool and consumer market.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. CBRE’s team of Kevin Dudley, Chad Hillyer, Nicholas Klacik, and Kate Granahan is leading leasing efforts on behalf of Goodman Group.

GLC Jersey City represents a significant addition to the region’s logistics infrastructure, providing modern, flexible, and high-performance space in a market where demand for last-mile distribution continues to grow.
