GC Warehouse, Mt. Vernon, N.Y., a construction and building supply company, has acquired TP Rental Services, New York, Rental Pulse reports.

TP Rental Services was founded in 1985 by Anthony “Tony” Perrotta and his wife, Nancy, as the only tool and equipment rental and repair center in midtown Manhattan. Perrotta previously served as the treasurer of American Rental Association of New Jersey and safety chairman. He also was among one of the first responders to the World Trade Center attack on Sept. 11, 2001, personally delivering and donating supplies to the Fire Department of the City of New York and the New York Police Department at Ground Zero, the publication reported.

Perrotta died in 2016, but already set in motion the sale of TP Rental to GC Warehouse. TP Rental continues to operate as a rental and repair company with a renewed vision and support. With this new business combination, TP Rental and GC Warehouse will be able to offer their customers a wider variety of construction supplies, rental and repair options for the New York City market.
