Here are some images from U.S.Concrete – New York’s Twitter feed describing the company’s 2,600 yard concrete pour on Saturday, Jan. 22. The six-hour project was at Disney’s new Hudson Square headquarters.

The 1.2 million sq. ft. structure at 137 Varick St. (Four Hudson Square) has been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and developed in partnership with Silverstein Properties. The 22-storey building will be 320 ft. tall.

New York YIMBY reported earlier that Skanska oversaw the demolition process of four previous structures on the property — one of which Disney purchased from Trinity Church Real Estate for $650 million.
