Columbia University: Special discussion event about Virtual Design and Construction

Columbia University’s M.S. in Construction Administration program faculty are hosting a discussion on Thursday (Feb. 25) about the role of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) in the construction industry.

The online event coordinated by the university’s School of Professional Studies starts at 6:00 p.m.

Architect Prithvi Aravind, 2020 Construction Administration Student Fellow, will moderate the event.

Speakers include: Chitwan Saluja, Digital Technology Manager, Jacobs; Rawle Sawh, Director of VDC at Gilbane Building Company; James Ward, Leader of the BIM Logistics and Visualization Team, Tishman Construction.

Other participants from the M.S. in Construction Administration program include Francisco Pineda, John B. Parkinson, Michele Trizzin and Suzanne Wolfinger.
