Keith Meehan has joined Itasca, Illinois-based PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC as vice-president, Northeast Market Leader at the company’s New Jersey office. “He is a resourceful problem solver who translates client goals and timelines into actionable plans,” PREMIER says in a news release. “More than anything, he believes in ensuring his teams meet scheduled objectives.”
“When I first met the PREMIER team, I knew I had found a new home and a place to grow my career,” says Meehan. “I share their 24/7 commitment to clients.”
In his new role, Meehan oversees the day-to-day operations and financial well-being of projects in the New Jersey office. “Keith takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of his responsibilities in order to strengthen relationships and stay closely connected to the Northeast construction market,” PREMIER says. “His abilities to think outside the box, negotiate and implement and monitor project schedules make him a true asset to the team.”
Recent roles include serving as a project manager in the New Jersey design-build industry. He has overseen all coordination and financial aspects of commercial ground-up, expansion and renovation projects while acting as the liaison between clients, engineers, architects, local authorities, subcontractors and facility officials.
Prior to that, he was a site superintendent and foreman for other New Jersey-area contractors. He successfully completed dozens of residential and public works projects and supervised all project-specific construction activities. “He upheld project timelines and motivated teammates through his strong work ethic and positive attitude,” the announcement said.
“In this important leadership role, Keith inspires his team by recognizing and leveraging their individual strengths,” says Alec Zocher, executive vice-president of PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC. “He will be a great asset to our clients in the Northeast.”
Meehan has OSHA construction outreach certification and is also certified in geographical information systems. When not at work, he enjoys giving back to his community and his home state of New Jersey.
