MSA says it has launched the Latchways 10ft. Cable Personal Fall Limiter (PFL) for fall protection, saying in an announcement that it is the most compact and lightweight self-retracting lanyard in its class using multiple spring radial energy-absorbing technology.
“This new design eliminates the need for an external energy-absorber outside of the housing making it the smallest self-retracting lanyard on the market in its class,” the product announcement says.
The Latchways 10ft. Cable PFL has a highly durable polycarbonate, clear casing which allows for easy visual inspection of the critical internal components. Additionally, it provides a fully rotating attachment point, both 360° and 180° for complete user mobility. The Latchways Cable PFL is suitable for use in multiple work applications for contractors working in industries such as general industry, utilities, construction, and oil & gas.
