The Brooklyn School District 20 is expected to get a new elementary school.
Councilmember Justin Brannan told Brooklyn Daily Eagle that the New York City School Construction Authority plans to build the new school at 6740 Third Ave. in Bay Ridge.
It would be a 330-seat elementary school in the northern end of Bay Ridge. The school would be the second school slated to be constructed in the near future in District 20.
The authority has yet to finalize the project. No more details were available about the development.
