Thomas Calcaterra has joined PREMIER Design + Build Group LCC as a senior project manager at the company’s New Jersey’s office.
“He believes that a 24/7 commitment to clients is key to helping their visions come true,” a PREMIER spokesperson said. “As a project lead, he ensures that our east coast teams meet scheduled objectives.”

Calcaterra will lead all aspects of the construction process, including bidding, budgeting and scheduling. He will lead negotiation and issuance of contracts and change orders, as well as maintaining RFI and submittal tracking, client and internal meeting documentation, billing, financial management and project closeout. Finally, Calcaterra will focus on design coordination, permitting and owner interaction.
Previously, he served as a project manager at a major New Jersey construction company. He interfaced with construction experts and clients and was responsible for the overall safety, direction, completion and financial outcome of projects.
His experience also includes serving as a project manager and superintendent in charge of scheduling projects, supervising teams, and coordinating efforts between subcontractors, architects, engineers and more. He completed projects for Fortune 500 companies and facilitated project phasing, logistics and cost management. Throughout his career, he has prided himself in ensuring that his teams exceeded client expectations.
