Fort Erie celebrated the start of construction this week for the Ridgeway Centre, designed by Raimondo + Associates Architects, a dynamic multi-use retail development set to transform the intersection of Gorham Road and Dominion Road. This initiative, catering to Ridgeway, Crystal Beach, and Stevensville, marks a significant milestone for the region’s economic growth.
Backed by an initial investment of $10 million, Phase 1 of the project includes 16,000 square feet of commercial space, with McDonald’s and LCBO as prominent anchor tenants. McDonald’s anticipates opening its doors by late July, while the LCBO plans to follow suit by year-end, enriching the area’s culinary and beverage offerings.
Additional units ranging from 1,200 to 6,700 square feet are available for lease, promising a diverse array of businesses to complement the retail landscape. Phase 2 development plans are now underway.
