The New York Times has published a profile story outlining challenges with job site safety enforcement on jobsites with largely undocumented workers in New York City.
The story, “The Men Lost to 20 Bruckner Boulevard” describes an accident-fraught Bronx project where injuries and deaths have resulted in some penalties for owners and contractors, but where tragic consequences recur.
