JPMorgan Chase has made the initial building plan filings for its new Midtown East headquarters on 270 Park Ave.
The new filing reveals that the bank wants to build a 1,322-foot tall tower with about 1.9 million sq. ft. of office space, Crain’s New York reports.
Last month, the City Council gave green light to Chase to demolish its 52-story Midtown office building and build a supertall structure.
The new 57-story headquarters is expected to produce 14,000 jobs and create 6,000 union construction jobs.
The financial services giant expects to begin of the new building in 2021.
