Steel construction of the 67-story One Manhattan West has reached its top floor, New York YIMBY reports. It will open as one of the world’s tallest buildings when it is completed in 2019 by developers Brookfield Properties and the Qatar Investment Agency.

Tishman Construction is the general contractor for the 995 ft. tall structure designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). It is the first building in what will be a massive development with several buildings and an estimated development value back in 2013 of almost $5 billion.

YIMBY reports also that contractors are installing the stone material to decorate the lobby and several panels are already in place on the northern side of the tower. There still is work to do on the facade.
