SJP plans to build new residential skyscraper in NYC

SJP Properties is preparing to start development on its Upper West Side residential skyscraper at 200 Amsterdam Ave., Commercial Observer reported, citing records filed with the New York City Department of Finance.

The planned 52-story building will be built at West 69th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. The 283,000-square-foot tower is scheduled to include 112 apartments, ranging from one-bedroom to five-bedroom units.

The project is designed by Elkus-Manfredi Architects. Construction of the tower is expected to be completed in 2020.
