Peter Stavrinou has more than 20 years of experience building relationships and leading projects in the commercial and residential construction industries. His drive, problem-solving and leadership mentality makes him the right person to step in as a vice-president for PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC. He will head PREMIER’s Northeast Division, work closely with current clients and grow new business in this expanding market.

Stavrinou has been responsible for numerous successful design + build projects throughout the region, from New Jersey to Maryland. As he advanced throughout his career, earning more responsibility at every stop, he helped clients in the Northeast attain their visions and meet their goals.

“New Jersey is my home. I have a connection with the people from this area and a solid understanding of state and city compliance requirements,” he said. “While working with clients, I listen to what their needs and goals are, help map out their plans and deliver what they want, cost-effectively and on deadline. I also take pride in motivating my teams and developing top talent.”

Beyond his deep construction experience, the firm’s newest vice-president also has familiarity in accounting, real estate investing and finance. This background makes him a great advocate for his clients because he understands the fiscal implications of every move and how to maximize budgets and stray true to estimates. However, design and build is his true passion as evidenced by a string of successful projects.

One project, alone, involved the $18.5 million construction of a 400,000 sq. ft. distribution facility for a medical equipment company in Virginia. He was also project manager for a nearly $7 million building addition in Maryland. Stavrinou was instrumental in the completion of several other public and private commercial projects as well. That includes the $7.6 million development of a recreation center, a $11.5 million library and a $1.3 million middle school—all in New Jersey.

“Peter provides the vision, marketplace knowledge and steady, smart presence we need in the Northeast,” says PREMIER Executive vice-president Alec Zocher. “We are thrilled that he will serve as a business advocate for our clients and are fortunate to have him with us.”

Peter was at the helm for the recent opening of the PREMIER office in Iselin, New Jersey. He has a Bachelor of Science from Monmouth University and is OSHA 10 Certified.
